Jarrod is in his early twenties and works full time as an ATV mechanic at Bowers Motorcycle Supplies. He began riding when he was ten on a Yamaha Blaster. He trail rode with family and friends for the first few years. He began racing locally in Pennsylvania when he was fifteen. After a few years experience, and moving up in the ranks, he decided to try some national level GNCC events.

With support from his employer, Bowers Motorcycle Supplies, Jarrod ran his first full season in the GNCC series in 2005 in the Four-Stroke Stock class. He then moved up to the Pro-Am class, and finally advanced to the XC1 Pro class in 2007. Jarrod has had multiple podium finishes, as well as many top fives in the Pro class, and is nationally ranked in the top 10 pro riders.

During 2009 Jarrod competed in the WORCS series (World Off Road Championship Series), which is held on the west coast. The racing is different than GNCC events in that it is more desert oriented with a motocross track being utilized as well. Jarrod proved to be a serious contender in the WORCS events with three podium finishes for the year.

Jarrod hopes to one day turn racing into a full time career and make it to the top. He enjoys working with sponsors and meeting new people. Jarrod is thrilled to be in his second year as a member of the National Guard Yokley Racing ATV Team for 2011.

“I am very committed to training and racing, and always strive to be the best; I believe that you only get out of something as much as you put into it,” says Jarrod.
